Golden Cock Stands on One Leg

STEPS 3:
The right hand describes a circle clockwise, down the center of the body, and passes the face, while the right leg rises and comes closer to the left leg. This is a transitional movement. Don't stop.

STEPS 4:

Hop on the left leg and land with your right, while the right hand twists and the palm faces down. The left hand comes above the right, and shoots out, splitting. The right hand rests at the right hip, palm down. The knees are bent. Sink the waist. Keep the body in a low position. Stop for a moment.
Left and Right Chicken Steps

STEP 5:

From the same low position, the left foot steps out, the right one follows it. The right hand shoots out with force, the fingers are pointing to the front; the left hand goes to the left hip. Both palms face down.

Repeat the movement advancing with the right foot and striking with the left hand.

(Transitional Movement)

The body begins to move to the right, while the left fist comes close to the center of the body. The left hand is still covering the wrist …don't stop.

STEP 8:

STEP 13:
The weight of the body shifts to the left leg. The right hand passes over the left shoulder. The left hand comes close to the Dan Tien. Don't stop.

STEP14: The right leg steps to the back, crossing behind the left leg. Sink the waist, and all the weight of the body goes to the center. The right hand makes a wide circle downwards, in a "dead arm" fashion, and stops past the right leg. This movement most be done in a relaxed manner when coming down, and with a quick tensing when it reaches the final point. The left hand covers the face and the right shoulder.

Chicken Form Splitting Fist

STEP 17:

Step forward with the left leg, while the left hand shoots out over the right hand and makes a splitting fist. The right hand goes to the Dan Tien.

After this last movement, do the turning movements of Pi Quan, and do the form again, but switching sides: The right hand will do what the left did, and vice versa.

APPLICATIONS
A. Golden Cock Stands on One Leg
This movement contains the splitting movement in a wide circle. It can be used to block and attack with a palm to the head simultaneously, or to hit an oncoming arm/foot with both hands, as a block/attack.

B. The Chicken step and Turn
It has the same intention as the Beng Quan, but the attack is done with the tips of the fingers. It's very suitable for areas like the eyes or the throat.

C & D: Golden Cock Shakes its Feathers
The Eagle form at the End is used to grab and pull (Very much like the pulling motion of Pi Quan), to break the opponent's balance, and then pushing the opponent to the ground.

E: Big Split
It covers a wide circular area, and the strike is delivered with the area of the forearm and the side of the palm. It can be used to attack the neck, or to block (Striking the attacker's forearm). It also can be combined with the elbow of the previous movement.
