emptyFlower is not a school or style of Xingyi, just the name I gave this website. The ultimate goal of Xingyi is to reach the state of Wuji or "no mind." The basis of xingyi lay in five simple forms called wuxing or "five elements," each relating to the five elements in Chinese cosmology. Each fist is represented by a petal - hence the name "empty flower" - my effort to grasp this meaning.
