Che Yong Hong, also know as Che Yi Zhai, was commonly called "Che er Shi Fu". Che was his family name, and er means 2 in chinese. He was called Che er because he was the second son of his father. He was born in 1830, the 10th year of the reign of the Emperor Dao Guang, from the Qing dynasty, and died in 1915, during the 4th year of the Min Guo (Popular Republic). Che er Shi fu came from the famous Shanxi province, Taigu city, the birthplace of Xingyiquan. Originally he was from Tao Yuan village, but he came to live in Jia Jia village.

Che er Shi Fu teacher, Li Lao Neng, had studied very hard under master Dai Long Bang, and became the inheritor of the whole Dai system of Xinyiquan. Li Shi Fu also became one of the top experts in whole China.

At that time, a very rich family from Taigu, the Wu family, invited Li Shi Fu to come to their home and work there as a martial arts teacher. It was the habit for the teacher to live in the family house, as a guest, during the time he would be working there. At the same time, Che Shi Fu and his family were also living at Wu's family house; they were supposed to take care of the animals and conduct the carriages. The work included feeding the animals even late at night, such as 12:00. They were in fact, very poor and lived a simple life.

One day, Yong Hong was working and heard a sound coming from the yard. As it was late at night, he thought it could be a robber; he decided to go slowly and take a look. Instead of a robber, he found out Li Shi Fu; he was practicing the 5 elements in front of the students. After seeing that, Che er Shi fu hide himself and secretly tried to learn the movements, class after class. As the saying goes "when you can't get the things you want, maybe there is something else out there for you" Sometimes, to get the things you are looking for, you need to be lucky.

One day, Che er was practicing the five elements in front of the gate of the animal's house. At that time, Master Li had to go out and was passing by. He noticed Che er practicing the five elements and was impressed with his skill. The actions were so correct and well executed that he thought Che er was an advanced student of some other master. At this moment, he approached Che er (that until this moment, didn't have noticed Master's Li presence). Che er wanted to speak, but was perplexed and couldn't say a word. Master Li than asked, "Who is your Master?" Che er said worried: "Please forgive me Master! I have been learning in secret when you teach your students." When Li Shi Fu heard that he got astonished, and at the same time, sad and happy. He was sad because Che er's situation made him remember about himself, many years ago, having to walk a very large distance to learn from Dai Shi Fu (Li Shi Fu was also very poor and he walked 20 kilometers every time he had to meet his teacher), and he was happy because at that moment, he understood he had found the person who was going to inherit all the Xinyi Liuhe Quan system.

Li Shi Fu was a teacher and a bodyguard at the Wu family house, and Che er was a servant at the same place, so they had the chance to meet everyday, and Che er could constantly practice and learn from Master Li. Che er came from a very poor family, and was used to face all sorts of problems in everyday life, being able to even survive with a minimum amount of food. His will power was exceptional and his ability to Fa Jin (explode and project internal force) was remarkable. Besides, his movements were always unpredictable and he could change (hua) a lot. He was the most famous student from Li Shi Fu. At that time, Che Er Shi Fu ability was well known in Shanxi, and a lot of prosperous family's from Taigu hired him as a bodyguard; thus he made a living from this job. Also, many of Che Shi Fu's students took jobs as bodyguards, in Qi Tai Xian.

Che Shi Fu had a younger brother (wushu brother), Guo Yun Shun. Guo Shi Fu was also very famous for his abilities in the Xingyiquan style, being notorious because of his Beng Quan. People all around China would say that his Bang Quan could beat anyone "under the skies". Guo Shi Fu had a very uneasy temperament, and one day, Li Shi Fu told him: " Your Gong Fu is very good, but you still can't compare with you older brother Che er. As soon as Guo Shi Fu heard that, his heart became very uneasy, and he said to his Shi Fu that he wanted to meet brother Che er to test his skils. Li Luo Neng then told him: " You'd better not go." To show respect for his teacher, Guo Shi Fu then, didn't go. But, after Li Luo Neng died, at 1876, Guo Shi Fu decided to go to Shanxi and meet his brother Che er.

At that time, Che er was already the most famous Xingyi Master in Shanxi. When Che er met his younger brother Yun Sheng, his heart became filled with happiness, because he heard many good things about his brother, but have never met him before. Che er Shi Fu the invited Guo Yun Shen to drink and eat. After a few glasses, Guo Yun Shen suggested they would fight to test their skills. "Don't be impatient brother", said Che er, "first, you should rest after your long trip. We well have a lot of time to practice together; don't worry." But Guo Shi Fu was not happy, and he insisted. Che er Shi Fu said to him: " There's no doubt about you skills brother; you are famous everywhere because of you Beng Quan." Guo Yun Shen lost his patience and attacked his older brother, using a series of his famous Beng Quan. Che er the stepped back several times, and when he was getting closer to the wall, Guo Yun Shen punched a last time. Suddenly, Che er moved very fast, and Guo Shi Fu couldn't see him anymore; Ce er use a side step and went to Guo Yun Shen's back; he the tapped Guo Yun Shen's shoulder and said: " Brother, I am here; If I would stay in front of you Beng Quan, you would surely beat me up." Guo Yun Shen turned back and said to him " Now I understand why Shi Fu said your skills are so high; from now on, I can do nothing but admire you brother!" This story is famous to this day because at the dinner, were other 5 people: 3 students of Che Shi Fu - Li Fu Zhen , Fan Yong Qing and Liu Jian. There were also Che Shi Fu's 2 older brothers, but we don't know their names. After this, Guo Shi Fu and Che Shi Fu stayed together at Taigu for a long time, and their Gongfu became even better. When the time came for Guo Shi Fu to go back to Hebei province, Che er Shi Fu was very sad. Guo Shi Fu became then even more famous than he was.

Che er Shi Fu was also granted a rank at the Emperor's court; the story goes like this: There was a High official in Beijing at that time, his name was Wang Ye He heard about a certain Che Yong Hong from Taigu, Shanxi, and wanted to meet this famous man. He then asked his friend that live in Taigu to invite Che Er Shi Fu to go to Beijing; Che Shi Fu accepted. When they go to Beijing, The official wanted to see Che Er's skill, and while he was having dinner with his Taigu friend, he arranged for a local Wushu coach to test Che Shi Fu. Che Shi Fu agreed and ask the coach to begin. At the beginning, the coach was attacking only vital point of Che er's body, at this made him a bit angry. Using his ability to Fa Jin, Che er sent the man flying to the dinner table. Wang Ye was so impressed with Che Er's skills that he granted him with a high position in the court.

Che Shi Fu was very famous not only for his Wushu, but also for his character. He was a good man and a very good teacher. He had several students, among them, the famous Bu Xue Kuan.
