Teacher Zhu Baozhen was born in 1933 in Dingxing County, Hebei province. When he was a child he practiced Shaolin quan in his hometown. At the age of 15 he moved to Beijing to find a job. One year later he started to study baguazhang with master Liu Zhenlin. Teacher Zhu learnt form him Cheng and Yin style baguazhang and also some of Ma Weiqi baguazhang. He practiced under master Liu Zhenlin until his death in 1968. After that teacher Zhu practiced 10 years with three another Yin style masters: He Zhongxiang, He Zhongqi and Zhang Hongji, all from He Jinkui lineage (Yin Fu’s son in law) to compare his knowledge about Yin style. This allow teacher Zhu to mastered two different version of Yin style: Dajiazy zhangfa (Large frame palm method) and Xiaojiazy zhangfa (small frame palm method). Dajiazy zhangfa teacher Zhu lerant from master Liu Zhe! nlin who had learnt it from master Li Yongqing (Wang Tong Li) Yin Fu’s disciple, Xiaojiazy comes from he Jinkui lineage. Teacher Zhu also learnt Erlang quan, Wuzu quan, Xing yi quan, Tai ji quan, Kunlun quan and qigong from famous master Hu Yaozhen. Teacher Zhu is very nice and open mind person. All this clips were shot before one of my classes without any special preparation or even warm up. All of them present Xiao jiazy zhangfa.
